The Congress addresses one of the most pressing human and animal health problems of our time. New research findings are revealing that synthetic pesticides are profoundly affecting the health of the African people, their animals, and environment.

The Congress has engaged a number of world-leading scientists including Hans Herren and Tyrone Hayes. Topical subjects like agroecology, atrazine, glyphosate, chlorpyrophos, and GMOs will be addressed. A course will be charted to substantially reduce synthetic pesticide contamination in Africa.
