This ground-breaking hybrid conference will examine how we can successfully integrate trees into the farmed landscape and build mutually beneficial relationships between the farming and forestry sectors at this time of transition.

Across the UK and the world, both farming and forestry are vital to climate, nature, people and the economy. We aim to increase shared awareness of the challenges and opportunities increased collaboration can bring, understand the cultural and financial barriers to integrating trees on farms, and explore the multiple benefits, both economic and environmental, for farmers, foresters and policymakers.

Taking place over two days, the conference will offer practical proposals and case studies of what has already been achieved, and by doing so change our perspective on what is possible so we can meet the needs of land-based businesses and respond to the environmental crisis and food crisis together.
