Soil Health Academy offers a day-long course at the Jonas Stoltzfus farm in Waterloo, New York, focusing on transitioning the cropping systems in confined dairy operations. This school will focus on improving soil function in a high-manure system. Students will learn ecological nutrient management, proper soil testing, no-till and proper cover crop management, and other ecological principles to reduce costs. The instructors are Kent Solberg and Dr. Allen Williams.
