Join us on World Soil Day – December 5th – as we delve into the world of living soils, regenerative agriculture, and its potential as a climate solution. Dr. Marie-Élise Samson, Associate Professor in the Department of Soils and Agri-Food Engineering at Laval University, will discuss the importance of soil health in the context of climate change adaptation and mitigation. We will then hear from Rébeka Frazer-Chiasson of Ferme Terre Partagée in New Brunswick and Vincent Bolduc of Fromagerie La Station in Québec as they discuss the practices they’ve adopted and the positive impacts they’ve observed on their land, their yields, and in their communities. Facilitator Isabelle Marquis, RD, a Communication & Food Innovation Strategist, will moderate the conversation.
The webinar will run for 90 minutes, with time for audience questions. The event will be held in French, with real-time interpretation in English. A recording of the webinar will be available in both languages after the event.
