COVID-19, biodiversity, & climate change are interrelated. Land use and climate change increase the probability of zoonotic disease transfer from original wildlife hosts to humans and livestock. Air pollution worsens the effects of respiratory diseases. In this context, the regenerative economy emerges as a response that allows ecosystems to be restored and renewed promoting carbon absorption, increasing biodiversity, improving the health of ecosystems, and providing well-being to communities.
In this session we will introduce you to the regenerative economy and reflect together on:
How do we create an economy with its operations based on cooperative relationships (between each other and within the ecosphere)?
How would a regenerative economy nurture the intrapreneurial spirit?
