In January, the British Society of Soil Science (BSSS) will hold their next webinar in their lunchtime series of Zoom into Soil. This webinar is free for all to attend.

Speakers Dr Anne Bhogal, Principal Soil Scientist and Professor Richard Bardgett, the British Ecological Society will present their research into regenerative agriculture. Regenerative agriculture is fundamentally about maintaining and improving soil health through sustainable soil management practices protecting and managing soil structure but also managing soil organic matter.

Dr Anne Bhogal’s talk, ‘Soil organic matter: the key to regenerative agriculture’, will outline the importance of organic matter and ways to improve it.
