At the heart of regenerative agriculture, regardless of the practice, there is always an undercurrent and focus on the improvement of soil health. Recent films like “Kiss the Ground” have brought the importance of maintaining good soil health through regenerative practices to the foreground, but what exactly can regenerative agriculture do for you and how can you implement this in a meaningful way?  What data is “beautiful”?

Do you want to…

  • Know how to enhance your soil to build resilience on your farm?

  • Learn what soil health indicators to measure to ensure you are on the right track?

  • Understand how to use the data to make informed decisions about what practices works best for your land?

Then, join us for a day of learning in Irricana, AB, where you can dive into how regenerative agriculture practices can benefit you and your soil.  We will be meeting at the Irricana Ag Society Recreation Centre for a morning of presentations and discussions and then after lunch, we will all head out to Tim Wray’s ranch to see firsthand how he is using regenerative agriculture practices to work on his farm.

If you’re interested in adopting regenerative agriculture practices, this is a great opportunity to connect, collaborate, and learn what data you can collect and use to evaluate resiliency for your operation.

Bring your boots and dress for the weather, we can’t wait to see you there!

This field day is a great opportunity to learn more about poly-crop grazing practices happening in the Canadian prairies.  We hope to see you there and feel free to invite your friends!  Want to learn more? We recommend listening to our latest podcast on Covercrops.
