This workshop will provide an overview of tree crops and agroforestry practices and associated cost share options available in IL. Nut trees, fruit trees, and shrubs that have a track record for profitable production on farms in the Midwest will be described and sources for seed and plants will be provided. Emerging tree crops with potential for diversifying farms will also be discussed. Lunch will provide an opportunity for landowners and farmers to meet and make connections.
