11/02/2020 - 11/16/2020

November 2-16, 2020

Rutgers Office of Continuing Professional Education is offering this online beekeeping course designed to provide information that new beekeepers need to start and care for a honey bee colony. Participants will be introduced to bee biology and management. Participants will also learn how to assemble hives, open and examine colonies, and see how honey and beeswax are harvested. Participants can complete the course content (which will take approximately 14-15 hours) at their own pace anytime during the period the course is open.
