
Dr. Zachary Brym represents the Department of Agronomy at the University of Florida’s Tropical Research and Education Center (TREC) in Homestead. He opened the TREC Agroecology Lab in January of 2017 after completing a Ph.D in ecology from Utah State University with specialization in crop physiology and computational biology. Agroecology is a relatively new discipline, the fundamental goals of which are to sustain agricultural production, conserve natural resources, and maintain social equity.
