Women who own or manage farmland in Iowa are invited to participate in free Women Caring for the Land discussions focused on soil health. Registration, coffee and resource sharing start at 8:30 a.m. Interactive activities and discussion will focus on how your local professionals can assist you with soil health and conservation planning for your operation. Free lunch is provided. During an afternoon field tour, participants will travel to a nearby farm to observe simple soil tests you can use to start a conversation with your farmer about profitability and conservation.
