El Ayuntamiento de Tías ha organizado un curso de formación en agricultura regenerativa enfocado al fomento, desarrollo, dinamización y expansión de la soberanía alimentaria local.
Our speakers will share their program's unique approach to regenerative agriculture, what attendees can expect from these programs in the coming year, the core design principles behind each program, how they are supporting farmers and information on the verification requirements.
This presentation of 4 per 1000 and Soil4Climate looks at the science, practice, and policy of regenerative grazing as a soil, climate, and livelihoods solution. Particular attention is given to grasslands, soils, pastoral people, and agriculturally-dependent communities.
we will discuss:
• Why coastal ecosystems of mangroves, seagrasses and salt marshes are imperative to reaching 1.5°C targets
• How blue carbon projects can provide income, subsistence resources, and additional co-benefits for local communities
• How will carbon accounting in blue carbon work in practice? And what is the role of business in scaling the voluntary blue carbon market?
Registration and light breakfast begin at 8:00 with the program beginning at 8:30. The day will include many speakers, breaks to visit booths, a hot lunch, and drawings for prize giveaways.
