The 9th ALGOA and 4th GAOD Summits is the first time that the Summits are held outside Goesan County, South Korea. Goesan has been the Seat of Presidency for ALGOA since 2016. On June 5th 2023, Mayor Rommel Arnado of Kauswagan, Lanao del Norte, who is also the President of the League of Organic Agriculture Municipalities, Cities and Provinces in the Philippines (LOAMCP-Ph), will become the new President of ALGOA and Co-President of the Global Alliance for Organic Districts (GAOD).
