We work with multiple stakeholders in key regions of the world who are committed to building alternative food and farming systems on a regional or national level. We are currently assisting in the building of numerous Regeneration Alliances, including those in South Africa, India, Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Canada, and in the Midwest region of the U.S.A.
Regeneration International and Renature Kick Off Farmer Training with FAO’s TAPE Assessment
/by Ercilia SahoresIn late July, smallholder farmers from across Guanajuato gathered at Vía Orgánica (link) for two days of hands-on work with TAPE, the FAO’s tool for measuring the health and sustainability of farming systems. It marks the first step in an 18-month collaboration between Renature and Regeneration International to train 200 farmers in agave-based agroforestry through the Billion Agave Project.
